PICTURE GALLERY - INTRODUCTION |

The idea of starting an "Image Library" (a computerised archive of Hickmore pictures and photographs) was originally put forward in May 1999 but nothing was done at the time due to the amount of work involved in collecting, sorting and processing the images. However, it was later suggested that it would be quite a good idea to include such a collection in the Hickmore Archive's on-line database and so work was started on this in March 2009. |

Completion of the project is not expected until 2010 at the earliest. In the meantime it would be greatly appreciated if everyone possessing photographs of the various Hickmore families and individuals would kindly contact the Archive. |
